Dear Sandpiper Gallery Member:

The 36th annual Sandpiper Art Festival was a terrific event.  The weather was perfect.  The traffic was steady throughout the day.  The 37^th Art Festival will be held Saturday, August 9, 2008, as part of Cruisin' by the Bay Car Show and many more local activities.

Sandpiper Art Festival, a juried show featuring original arts and crafts, is open to interested artists and crafters.  The Sandpiper Art Festival is attended by thousands of people.  This festival offers you both an opportunity for sales and exposure to new, potential buyers.  Please note that two or more exhibitors intending to sell their work in the same space must register and pay separately.  The booth fee is $25 for each Sandpiper Gallery member.  (Non-member booth fee is $35.)

Members are also invited to display up to three items in the Sandpiper Gallery booth.

The cost is $10. 

Set-up time this year will be:

 6:30 P.M. until 8:30 P.M. on Friday evening and

 7:00 A.M. until 9:00 A.M. Saturday. 

The show hours are from 10:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, August   9, 2008.

All exhibitors are responsible for handling their own sales and displays.  This is an outdoor festival so provisions should be made to protect the display in case of inclement weather.  Sales books must be reconciled with the treasurer at the close of the festival.  Checkout time will be no earlier than 5:00 P.M.  Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up their individual space.  The use of stakes on the courthouse lawn is NOT allowed.

Commission on your sales due to Sandpiper Gallery is 10% for members in good standing for the six-month period prior to the Art Festival.  Our reduced commission is only one of the many advantages of being a member of Sandpiper Gallery, and will be strictly limited. 

Commissions must be paid when you check out at the end of the day.  Sandpiper Gallery is a non-profit organization run by volunteers.  The money raised during the art festival goes towards scholarships for students studying art and for maintenance of the gallery.
